This Privacy Policy explains how Picksplit collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Picksplit mobile application and related services.

Information we collect

Account information: If you register with email, we collect your email address and authentication information needed to create and secure your account. If you use Google Sign-In, Google provides basic account information such as your name, email address, and profile image, subject to your Google account settings. Picksplit does not receive your Google password.

Profile information: We may collect the basic profile information you choose to provide, such as a display name, username, and profile image.

Activity and content: We process votes, Splits you create, images or text you submit, and other interactions needed to provide the service.

Technical and analytics data: We collect limited device, app, log, and usage information, including crash and performance data, where necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand use of the app.

How we use information

We use information to create and manage accounts; provide voting, Split creation, and community results; personalize and maintain profiles; prevent abuse and protect the service; respond to support requests; and analyze reliability and product performance.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, when required by law or a valid legal process, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Content and profile information you choose to make visible in the service may be seen by other users.

Data retention

We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may update certain profile information in the app and may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Rights vary by location. Account or privacy requests may be sent to the official contact listed on the Contact page.

Children

Picksplit is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by law.

International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for cross-border transfers.

We may update this Policy as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
